Get AISEOmatic up and running in minutes — follow these step-by-step instructions for WordPress installation and activation.

AISEOmatic optimizes your WordPress site for both classic SEO and AI-First SEO (GEO: Generative Engine Optimization). Follow the steps below to install the Lite (free) or Pro version, then activate your license and key modules (AI Sitemap, LLM tags, etc.).

📦 Install & Activate the Lite (Free) Version #

Option 1: Search & Install (Easiest) #

Step-by-Step:

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard
2. Go to Plugins → Add New
3. In the search bar, type “AISEOmatic AI”
4. Click Install Now
5. Click Activate

✅ Done! AISEOmatic Lite is now active on your site.

Note: If the plugin doesn’t appear in search, use Option 2 (upload the ZIP).

Option 2: Upload a ZIP (Manual Install) #

When to use: If searching doesn’t work or you have a custom ZIP file.

Step-by-Step:

1. Download the AISEOmatic AI ZIP from your aiseomatic.com account
   • ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do not unzip or alter the plugin
   • Install the ZIP as-is, otherwise activation may fail
2. WP Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Click “Choose File” → Select the AISEOmatic AI ZIP

When to use: Advanced users or when dashboard access is unavailable.

Problem: Plugin Won’t Activate

Solution:

• Check PHP version (7.4+ required, 8.x recommended)
• Verify WordPress version (5.0+ required)
• Check server compatibility

Problem: Install Failed

Solution: Check server limits in php.ini:

• upload_max_filesize → minimum 10MB
• post_max_size → minimum 10MB
• max_execution_time → minimum 300 seconds

Problem: License Won’t Register

Solutions:

Check 1: Key Format

• Correct format: AISEO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
• Copy-paste to avoid typos
• No extra spaces

Check 2: Outbound Connections

• Server must allow connections to aiseomatic.com
• Check firewall settings
• Contact hosting if blocked

Check 3: Activation Limits

• Verify you haven’t exceeded site limit
• Single license = 1 site
• 5-site license = 5 sites max
• Deactivate from unused sites first

Check 4: Expiry Date

• Check license expiration
• Renew if expired
• Grace period: 7 days

Problem: White Screen After Activation

Solution:

Step 1: Enable Debug Mode

1. Edit wp-config.php
2. Add before “That’s all, stop editing”:

• Don’t enable multiple JSON-LD outputs simultaneously
• Choose one:
  • Option 1: Let AISEOmatic auto-disable its schema
  • Option 2: Turn off other plugin’s schema output
  • Option 3: Use AISEOmatic schema only

How to check for duplicates:

1. View page source
2. Search for <script type="application/ld+json">
3. Should see ONE Organization schema
4. Should see ONE WebSite schema
5. If multiple, disable one source
